Everythings Better with Sprinkles on Top.

So, I've talked to a bunch of people and we all agree that us girls (mostly mothers but not limited to) need a night out once in a while. We're thinking like once a month. In a nut shell we're going to get together, talk, eat ice cream and chocolate, and worry about nothing else but enjoying our time without our munchkins and/or husbands. I've informed my husband that he will be completely in charge of all the child rearing responsibilities with out any exceptions or excuses for these few hours every month. I had to assure him that no one will die, not even the baby, while i am gone. LOL :) But even if your husbands aren't available to play Mr. Mom for the evening, it is worth finding a sitter one night a month in order to regain your sanity, be a healthy women and a happy wife and mother. Do it for you, do it for them, what ever you have to tell your self, just do it. Come out and join us cause all girls need to have a little fun.





The first one is going to be This friday the 21st of Oct. We're going out for ice cream. Just a fun activity to break the ice and get to know one another. We'll meet at my house,(Sondra Jones 4358967271) at 7pm, so we can carpool to save on gas.We will also be talking about ideas for the upcoming months. Feel free to let all of the women around you know that they are invited too. The more the merrier. Everyone pays for themselves this month, but the cost for our monthly activities will never be more than $20 without being agreed upon by the majority of the group prior to the date.
P.S. Our activities aren't just limited to conversation and treats. We can have game nights, craft nights, see a chick flick, scrapbook or whatever. So come with ideas. It will be a blast. Hope to see you all there.

2011- Here We Come

Let's start the year off right. This January's GNO is all about letting go of the past and embracing a new year of friendships and memories to be made. No need to bring anything, just show up ready to relax, kick off your shoes and maybe kick up your heels:) We'll all have a laugh watching some of our friends let down their guard and let loose with the Just Dance Wii game. Who knows, maybe it could be you:) But don't worry, if you don't like to dance we are also going to play some board games and share our most embarrassing moments over the holidays as well as some new year resolutions. This month's Host is Meagan Walker Sulligan and we will be meeting at her home from 7-9 on Friday the 14th of January. Santa's Little Helpers Bring Sugar and Spice!

Santa's helpers are having a girls night out!!! To start the season off right, lets get together to have a little fun before the stressful holiday rush. To make this girls night out extra sweet, lets get together and share our favorite holiday treats. Just be sure to bring along a copy of the recipe to share with all and I'll supply the extra cards.



Can't have a Christmas GNO with out some good old fashioned girly holiday movies playing in the background. In an effort to get Santa's helpers off to an early start we can bring some gifts to wrap and hopefully save us some much needed sleep on Christmas eve. No need to bring wrapping paper but extra tape and scissors are always a help. This Months GNO will be held at Sondra Jones' Home from 6:30-8:30 on the first Friday of the month, December 3RD 2010.

Bowling was a Ball!

Well ladies, this months activity was a blast. We had a small group but are hopeful for more friends next month. We cosmic bowled, chatted up a storm, had some fattening but delicious pizza, and all while listening to some blast from the past music. Over all, we relaxed and enjoyed our first girl's night out. Thanks to all who came and hope to see all of you who weren't able to make it next month.

New November Fun

Hey girls:) I'm excited to kick off our first girls night out since I moved to Virginia. Girls Just Want to Have Fun is the blog site where i will post the details of what we are doing each month. This way you can plan it into your monthly plans and always know ahead of time if you want to attend. If you would like to get a better idea of what this group is all about, you can read some of the older posts to see what our group in Utah used to do. Also don't forget to read the introduction to the site. So this month, we are going Bowling just up the road at the NEX. Just a fun activity to break the ice and get to know one another. We will also be talking about ideas for the upcoming months. Feel free to let all of the women around you know that they are invited too. The more the merrier. As a side note, you don't have to bowl if you don't like. Nothing wrong with coming to just sit, talk and relax. Nothing else to bring or contribute this month either, as most bowling allies don't allow outside food or drink. So come and enjoy a few hours of relaxation because there is nothing wrong with us girls needed to have a little fun ;)

Facials for Spring

Want to feel refreashed for spring? Tired of the snow? Me too!!! Well, this month we're going to be doing facials at Deer creek cabins. This is the same place we did pedicures last October. We're going to be learning how to make our own homemade masks. No need to bring anything for the facials but if you would like to bring a snack to share that would be great. Finger foods are great and I'll supply the drinks, cups and plates. It will be on Saturday Feb. 20th. We will start around 6:00 and we'll go till we're done having fun.(probably around 8:30-9:00) Even if you can't come the whole time or have to show up later, still come, it will be fun. Easy Does It!!!!!

The up coming activity for January is simply dinner and/or cards. We're going to meet at El Mexicano in Salina at 6:00pm for dinner and after we eat, we're going to play a card game. If you can't make dinner, still come for the game afterwards.It's going to be laid back but lots of fun, so don't miss it. If you are from the Joseph/Richfield area and would like to car pull, I have an 8 passenger van and I'm willing to drive. Just call me or comment on this post to let me know your interested.
